અમદાવાદ આજનું..
જુની-જાણીતી-ગેબી ગલીયોનું ગાઢ જંગલ કર્ણાવતી,
પુરપાટ દોડતું ફ્લાયઓવર અમદાવાદ થઇ ગયું..
ધંધા-લોકો પણ બદલાયાં કંઇક એ ગતિથી અહિં તો,
માણેકચોકની કટિંગ ચા નું કોર્પોરેટ બરિસ્તા થઇ ગયું..
સાબરમતીનાં સુકા પટ પર ચાલતા પહેલાં જ્યારે,
રેવા ભળતાં હવે,નદી પટ નું રિવર-ફ્રંટ થઇ ગયું..
કાંકરિયાનું અનેરુ રુપ ને “જનમાર્ગ” નું સુંદર માળખું,
તળાવ-નદી પછી ખખડધજ બસોનું મેકઓવર થઇ ગયું..
અહિં જ ઉગેલા નિરમા-રિલાયન્સનાં જગમગતાં સુર્યો ક્યારેક,
આજે તો શહેર દેશભરનું ફાર્મસી-હબ પણ થઇ ગયું..
વેપારી તો પાક્કા આપડે,પણ વિજ્ઞાનમાં ક્યાંક કચાશ હતી,
પહેલું પગથીયું માંડ્યું ને ઉભું સાયન્સ-સિટી થઇ ગયું..
દાદા કહે આપણા અમદાવાદની દશા છે એવી બેઠી,
જુની પેઢીયોનું જુનું કર્ણાવતી વાઇબ્રંટ-સિટી થઇ ગયું..
થવા દો હજી થોડો ઠાઠમાઠ અમદાવાદનો વડિલ!!
જુનું મનગમતું,પણ દરેક મન ક્યારનું ગ્લોબલ થઇ ગયું..
ભલે ને બદલાતી કર્ણાવતી તું અમદાવાદ થકી,
લાડકી રહિશ હંમેશ પછી જે પણ લુક તારું થઇ ગયું..

i hadnt visit amdavad 4m 2-3 years,& besides i m 4m vadodara,so whenever i get vacation i go to my home-vadodara……bt reading ur poem i cn visualise new amdavad……..nice description dear………..keep it up……..

ચિન્મયભાઇ,સુંદર કવિતા છે અમદાવાદ રોજ બદલાય છે અને પ્રગતિ કરે છે અને પરિવર્તન એ જ તો કુદરતનો પણ નિયમ છે વળી આ તો સુંદર પરિવર્તન છે એટલે જેટલું થાય એટલું સારુ છે.લેટ-લતિફ જન્મદિનની શુભેચ્છા અમદાવાદને………

વ્યથા હશે કદાચ જુની પેઢી માટે, પરંતુ બદ્લાવ જરુરી છે , ત્યારે જ સમય બદ્લાયા ની ખબર પડ્શે જ્યારે દરેક ક્ષેત્રે નવનીર્માણ થશે…. nice n unique thought, જ્યાં રહ્યા અને મોટા થયા હોઈએ એ જગ્યાની યાદો કઈંક અનેરી જ હોય છે,તારા માટે એ અમદાવાદ મારા માટે “મારુ વડોદરા”

Hye buddy…….a very good post…..but u forgot to mantion nano project……the most happening project of india near amdavad(sanand) and also the raw material factory tata has established in amdavad for nano…….not a small project,its 670 crore invvestment in/near amdavad…….total 2000 crore investment in gujarat by tata……soon amdavad will be car manufacture’r hub too………

What ever we say this is all b’coz of one man and his vision that is the great Mr. Modi. I really appreciate his work from the bottom of my heart. What ever Gujrat or Ahmadabad have achieved or will achieve will be due to this great man.
Hats off to this man and hi vision. I born and bought up in Mumbai and I started visiting Ahmadabad since last 5 years only (luckly after my marriage it be came my sasru) and trust me guys I m really dieing to come and sept may rest of the life in Ahmadabad. Can any body give me some Job in IT/Telecom company

purva ane paschim no samnvay kaik eevi rite jalvi gayu…..
