દેશપ્રેમી ઉત્તરાયણ
પતંગોની ઋતુ ઉત્તરાયણ કંઇક મને કહેવા લાગી,
દિલના લોંચીંગ પેડ પરથી કલ્પનાની મિસાઇલ દાગી..
બનાવી શુરવિરોની પતંગો ચગાઓ આકાશમાં,
દુશ્મનો ઠાર થઇ જશે,બસ એક જ ઢીલ-ખેંચમાં..
થવા દો પેચ આ અંતિમ,દુશ્મનોથી ધારદાર,
જિત થશે ફરિ આ અવસરે,સત્યની શાનદાર.!
દેશ મારો ભોળો એવો કલયુગને પણ ના પિછાણે!!
વારંવાર માંજો મારે ઘા,તોય થાય હરખઘેલો કટાણે!!!
ધ્યાન થી જુઓ,દુશ્મનો અણધારી ખેંચ-ઢીલ દેશે,
કાપીને ચાંદલીયા-પતંગ જેવો દેશ,કાડે પણ કહેશે.!
જણાવી દઉં શાંતિનાં દંભી પૂજારીઓને ફરિ,
ફાટશે ચાંદલીયો હવે,ગુંદરપટ્ટી જરા જો કરિ..
યાદ રહે નભમાં હંમેશ એક જ પતંગ હોય ટોચે,
લુંટણિયાઓ પૂર્વ-પશ્ચિમેથી રોજ ચાંદલીયો નોચે..
મારા ચાંદલીયાને અભય લહેરાતો જોઉં ત્યાં લગી ના જંપુ,
પછી ભલે હું કોઇ દિ કટ્ટર તો કોઇ દિ મુર્ખાઓમાં ખપું..

મારા ચાંદલીયાને અભય લહેરાતો જોઉં ત્યાં લગી ના જંપુ,
પછી ભલે હું કોઇ દિ કટ્ટર તો કોઇ દિ મુર્ખાઓમાં ખપું..
Taari vaat sachi che chinmay, pan sachi vaat kehvama bhale aapne “કટ્ટર” kahevaie… deshprem ane patang (uttarayan) anero med besadyo che te, gud job…

thank you all!!and nitaben,pls. for god’s sake stop calling me kavi chandumal..supriya,your observation is really sharp,i wrote it in my mind while i was flying a kite..malav,we poets r always called psycho cause we like to do “બાલ કી ખાલ નિકાલના..” you know..LOL,jaimin i always wait to see your coments and thanks mummy too..
