ગમ્યું એ બધું મૃગજળ થઈને ચાલ્યું આઘે,
શેષ હતું એ વાદળ થઈને ચાલ્યું આઘે.
આંખો લખતી રહી રાતભર કહેવું’તું જે,
સૂરજ ઊગતાં ઝાકળ થઈને ચાલ્યું આઘે.
સાવ અચાનક કયા વળાંકે ? ખબર પડી આ,
આયુષ આખું પળપળ થઈને ચાલ્યું આઘે.
અઢળક તારાઓ મ્હારામાં ઝબકી ઊઠ્યા,
કોણ દિવસભર ઝળહળ થઈને ચાલ્યું આઘે ?
કેટકેટલું મથે ? દેહ પાછળ ને પાછળ,
મન હંમેશાં આગળ થઈને ચાલ્યું આઘે.
પથ્થરનો અવતાર મળ્યો આ જન્મે મિસ્કીન,
શું ય હશે જે ખળખળ થઈને ચાલ્યું આઘે.

I m not sure u still rememebr little girl from godavari nagar,vasan,neighbour of Sumanmasi, yes That’s me Gilu……..I m in australia now with my husband and son. every year I visit India and hear or ready about your poetry. last yr. u had programme in Rajvadu,and I saw ur picture in newspaper. I still have your two poetry books with me.and still love to read your work.and thanks to Internet I can watch your videos too..I was very happy to watch ur video.
